How do AI credits work?
The AI features run on credits. Pro includes
300 every month, refreshed at the start of each billing cycle. Credits are only spent when the AI actually answers: a request served from cache, or one the extension works out on its own, costs nothing.

A search answered entirely from your own index is free as well.
What happens when I run out of AI credits?
AI features pause until your next billing-cycle refresh, or you can purchase additional AI credits. Everything else keeps working: saving, restoring, suspending tabs, search, Workspaces and sharing are never affected by your credit balance.
Do unused AI credits roll over?
Monthly AI credits do not roll over. Pro receives a fresh 300-credit allowance each billing cycle. Purchased top-up credits are stored separately, never expire, and are only spent once the monthly allowance is gone.
What happens to purchased AI credits if I cancel Pro?
Purchased credits are kept, not lost. They are frozen while Pro is inactive and become available again if you subscribe to Pro again, along with a fresh monthly allowance.
How do AI credits work for Teams?
Each paid Team seat contributes 300 AI credits per billing cycle to one shared Team pool, and everyone on the team uses the same shared balance. For example, 5 paid seats is 1,500 shared credits a month. Monthly credits do not roll over, and pooled credits are shared rather than split per member.
How do I upgrade?
Install the extension, sign in with Google, then open Settings → Plans & billing. Checkout opens in a secure Dodo Payments tab; your plan activates automatically after payment.
How do Team seats work?
Team is priced per seat with a 2-seat minimum, and the owner is seat #1. Members join through a shareable invite link and each occupies one seat. Adding seats mid-cycle is prorated; a member's own Pro plan isn't needed while they hold a seat.
Can I switch between Pro and Team, or monthly and yearly?
Yes, in one click from the extension. It's a single continuous subscription: unused time is credited automatically against the new plan (proration), never lost.
What happens if I cancel?
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then drops to Free. Your local sessions are never touched. There's also a 14-day money-back guarantee on new subscriptions. Just email us.
What if a payment fails?
Nothing breaks immediately. You keep your plan for a 7-day grace period while you update your card from Settings → Plans & billing → Manage billing.
